XS Martial Arts Dojo Camp Programs
Safe, Structured, Well-Spent Time
Keeping your child active — and away from screens — during the summer months is an ongoing challenge. As parents ourselves, we know this struggle all too well. That’s why we’ve developed enriching seasonal camp programs to teach valuable life skills through quality martial arts training in a fun, team-oriented environment.
Our summer and holiday camps instill confidence; focus; self-esteem; discipline; independence; and motivation. Camps fill up quickly and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Book your child’s spot while there’s still room!

How do I register?
Simply put down a $125 registration to save your child’s spot. This registration is non-refundable, but will be credited toward the rest of your tuition. Payment is accepted here, over the phone or in-person at the dojo. Once we receive your registration, we’ll contact you to schedule a time to complete the registration paperwork.
My child can’t make all 5 days each week. Can we attend part-time?
Absolutely! We offer daily attendance at a rate of $40 per day.
What time does the camp typically start and end?
Each summer, camp runs Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We also offer early drop-off and late pick-up programs; you can drop off between 7:30-9:00 AM for an additional $25/week. Late pick-up runs between 3:00-6:00 PM for an additional $35/week.
What will my child do at the camp?
This is a very active camp. Our campers enjoy daily karate classes, comprising varied karate-themed games and activities focused on strength, flexibility and agility. Collectively, this indoor + outdoor programming exposes them to the rich diversity of martial arts from around the world. Each week, campers learn about a different country and its specific martial arts forms, including open discussion formats and written + arts projects. Separate weeks also focus on different character-building themes, such as “respect” or “loyalty,” directed by activities that showcase what it means to embody these qualities.
Is this a sports training camp?
No, it is not an intensive training camp — rather, an activity-based camp incorporating elements of karate and fitness. Kids stay active, but are not literally working out every hour of the day
Does my child have to attend for the camp’s entire duration?
No. You are welcome to attend all 12 weeks, or you can mix and match to accommodate your unique schedule. We offer a discount for two or more sessions.
Is lunch included?
Yes! We partner with Save One Now for the “No Kid Hungry” campaign; hot lunch is provided daily, but if you have a picky eater, please pack a lunch and two snacks daily. No need to bring water; we have a water cooler so they will stay hydrated.
What is the age minimum?
Our camp is open to kids ages 5 and up.
Do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes, siblings receive 10% off the regular camp price; not the pre-registration amount, as it already discounted.
Are payment plans available?
Absolutely! We can arrange weekly or monthly payment plans billed by debit or credit card.
Do you accept public assistance vouchers?
Not at this time.
What NOT to bring to camp each day?
Weapons – pocket knives, swords or other martial arts weapons
Large amount of money – we ask that parents purchase snack cards for their camper as to limit the amount of money they carry to a minimum.
Video games – or other hand-held devices (phones, iPads, etc)
Drop-off / Pick-up
All parents will sign-in and sign-out their child daily. Children do not have to be signed in if they are dropped off with the greeter. At pick-up, all parents must sign-out their children.
If someone other than the parent will be picking-up their child we must be notified in advance by email or in writing, otherwise, we will not let the child go until a parent is contacted. Please email our office at [email protected] with at least 2 hours’ notice of any pick-up changes.
